Bishop’s Book Club – Discussion Group

October Mondays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. or October Wednesdays from 6:30-8:00 p.m. on Zoom.

As we launch our first ever Bishop’s Book Club next Friday, we’re excited to share information about our book club discussion groups! Assistant to the Bishop Rev. Hazel Salazar-Davidson will host two discussion groups centered around the book “If God Still Breathes, Why Can’t I?”. There will be a group gathering on Mondays and a group gathering on Wednesdays throughout the month of October, meeting via Zoom. We invite you to sign up for one of these discussion groups here:

Did you get to join Bishop Megan and Author Angela Parker on Friday, September 24th at 5:00pm PT for our very first Bishop’s Book Club, talking about the book “If God Still Breathes, Why Can’t I?” If not, you can view it on the Synod YouTube channel or by clicking

The Bishop’s Book Club is co-hosted with the Synod Resource Center and we register to participate here (same as the first link)

Our Synod’s Communications and Connections Coordinator offered, “The 2nd book for the Bishop’s Book Club is “Sustaining Spirit” by Naomi Ortiz and aligns well with the Synod and Resource Center’s theme of wellness in October/November. The author has agreed to an introductory livestream October 28th at 6:00pm PT.”
